ADESERA ^TM

This medication is a reverse transcriptase inhibitor (ntRTI), prescribed for hepatitis B, in patients 12 years of age and older with evidence of active viral replication and either evidence of persistent elevations in serum aminotransferases (ALT or AST) or histologically active disease; and herpes simplex virus infection. It slows the growth of HBV by blocking reverse transcriptase, an enzyme that is helpful for viral reproduction.

BENDEX ^TM

Albendazole is an orally administered broad-spectrum anthelmintic. Its primary use is as a topical pesticide for control of parasites in particular various worm infestations. It has inhibitory effect on tubulin polymerization, resulting in loss of cytoplasmic microtubules.

CONVULEX ^TM

Sodium Valproate is carboxylic acid-derivative anticonvulsant; also antimanic, psychotherapeutic, and antimigraine agent. Valproic acid (ionized form: valproate) is the active moiety for valproate sodium and divalproex sodium.

Estrin Cream (conjugated estrogen) is a mixture of estrogen hormones used to treat the vaginal symptoms of menopause such as dryness, burning, irritation, and painful sexual intercourse. Estrogen is a female sex hormone produced by the ovaries. Common side effects include nausea/vomiting, bloating, breast tenderness, headache, or weight changes.

SERO-TET ^TM

Sero-Tet is a sterile solution containing tetanus immune globulin which is prepared by Cohn fractionation from plasma of individuals with high titers of antibody to the tetanus antigen and heat inactivation step in manufacturing process (60 ℃, 10 hrs) is used to inactivate infectious agents such as Hepatitis B Virus, Hepatitis C Virus, Human Immunodeficiency Virus, and so on. A donor unit found to be negative to anti-HIV 1/2, anti-HCV and HBsAg are only used in preparation of Sero-Tet.

It is known that when administered orally UDCA is concentrated in bile and decreases biliary cholesterol saturation by suppressing hepatic synthesis and secretion of cholesterol, and by inhibiting its intestinal absorption. The reduced cholesterol saturation permits the gradual solubilization of cholesterol from gallstones, resulting in their eventual dissolution.
